OPIRG McMaster lends equipment to support your event planning and activist needs. This equipment is available to students, community members, and non-profit groups.

Button Makers

We have two hand-operated button makers with cutters that make 1¼” and 1¾” size buttons.

If you would like to use the button maker, please request through the online form after reading the Button Maker Policy.

To help you get ready, use the available templates to create the artwork for the button. You are responsible for creating and bringing your printed artwork in. You will be given a quick walk-through on using the button maker before you begin your scheduled button-making session.

The cost is currently $0.20 per small button and $0.25 per large button. Payment is due on the day the buttons are made by cash or cheque only. Cheques are to be made out to “OPIRG McMaster.”

The button makers are available to OPIRG Public Interest Project Teams at no cost.
