Never know what to do with your leftover strawberries? Come join us on June 29th to learn how to can strawberries! Walk along-side the canning process with an experienced canner and learn about how preserving and canning produce can be a great way to reduce food waste, be sustainable, and eat healthy.
After the workshop you can take home a jar of canned strawberries that you helped make!
Spaces are limited so please ensure that you can attend the duration of the event before signing up! The event is expected to take 1.5-2 hours.
How to get to the Alumni House Kitchen: This building is often mistaken for others on campus, so check out the google map linked (https://goo.gl/maps/XzpAxDn79AoXgw9EA). It is the old president’s house that is behind Bates residence. You can enter into the door that is just off the path and the kitchen/dining room is just down the hall where you enter.
