OPIRG is Hosting a Book Give-Away!

OPIRG is making some changes in our Resource Centre in MUSC 229 to create more space for student public interest action workspace.

We love our book collection, but we are paring our resources down to a more focused theme of “organizing” and practical resources for activism.

Less books, more space for hands-on workspace.

We’ve already donated books to SWAP, The MSU service SHEC, and CityLAB Hamilton.

Now it’s your turn!

Drop by OPIRG on Tuesday, December 6 between 12 and 4 PM and browse to see what’s available.

We are asking for cash donations for books, the proceeds of which will go to support NIWASA KENDASWIN TEG: A multi-service Indigenous Organization in Hamilton.

We’ll have Fair Trade Coffee and Tea on hand and some baked goods. If you’ve never visited us before, just come by and say hi!
